AJC.

MG 20! Didn't really get to know everyone there cos next week we'll all be in diff OGs anyway. :l But I did make a few friends here and there. Issac, Huiting, Sabrina were the ones I really talked to a lot :o) Yayness its the last day of matriculation today, next week's the orientation alr! Getting really mixed comments bout ajc from diff seniors. Like most Student Councillors would say its super fun and bonded but a few were pretty honest to say that ajc isn't v fun it isn't as rah-rah as acjc. The mass dance has been recycled from last yr's or the year b4 and the orientation games are gna be all dry games. (Even swiss had water games..) But I also looked at the good points of ajc namely:
1) Over 30+ swissians there
2) Choir's gg to Venice for a competition and there's a concert in May (Go and support me and AJChoir okay?)
3) AJChoir has won 4 consecutive GWH awards at the bi-annual SYF competition
4) It may not be a rah-rah super high and englishy school but ppl here come from v diverse backgrounds (Some are crazy hyper, others open up more when you talk to them, a minority speak so softly I gotta ask em' thrice b4 I even get their name right.)
5) Awesome output results.

Don't get me wrong, I still like ACJC very much tho I'm not an acsian. Heard that today's orientation campfire was like lightsticks everywhere w/ music blasting. FUN OVERLOAD.
So the 4 days of matriculation was like this. Talks were pretty impt during the first 2 days after that it became really as if the teachers just had to fill in the last day w/ talks we don't really need to listen to like PUB water consumption (Stop pollution blabla) and heaploads of special scholarship programs. Speaking of which, should I sign up fr the AJ scholarship? I'm eligible and can get $1000 but we can't just take the $ and end up failing exams. :/
Anyhoo, throughout the 4 days of matriculation I experimented w/ diff positions of sleeping w/o getting caught. Tip for girls is to always wear a shorts underneath ur skirt cos some positions require you to fold up both legs and we don't wanna give a free show do we :p
The girlss. Really nice people :o) Some were from cedar, crescent, bpghs etc. Kinda sad how we're gna 'part' when we were just knowing one another better hm. Hope my OG has awesome people! xx
Thank God I have many swissians there, wonder how the person who's the only one from his/her sec school coping. Must be hard not knowing a single person there and truly starting from scratch.

Dad was so funny haha (Sorry if you don't get YAP humor.) So yeah, I gave dance up. I do love dancing more singing choral music but I'm alr learning ballet outside of school so.. yeah. Plus Choir's gg Venice! Oh but non-sgeans only get 200bucks subsidy while sgeans get like 1200 bucks w/o the FAS. I'm seriously considering changing my citizenship.. heard frm somewhere that the whole process involves me gg to the high court or sth and taking the pledge to kinda seal the whole "You are now a Singaporean" thing. Hahah for a moment I was thinking bout re-enacting the movie Tom Cruise was in what was it.. I forgot the title but the famous line was:
"YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH". Sigh melia, so lame.
How to make friends??
